About Me: I'm a husband, father, hobbyist musician, and currently employed as a software engineer in a Devops role. I work with clients/employers to build custom solutions. I started out making web sites for small businesses, and gradually worked my way to developing API's, querying/designing databases, writing Line of Business applications, deploying software and managing permissions and networking. Technologies, languages, and frameworks I'm most familiar with include html, css, javascript, nodejs, php, sql, c# (.net framework/core), iis, powershell, angular, azure (ARM Templates, Azure powershell, portal management), automated testing, f5 iRestControl api, vsphere powercli, and octopus deploy. I've played around with docker, kubernetes, python, and linux server setups. I do side projects as well, viewable on my github account . I occasionally write on my blog . I've also participated in several innovation projects at my day job like building a phone app with real time text chat, exploring the web audio api and speech to text/text to speech apis and web workers, setting up a website and linux virtual machine to host a python flask api behind gunicorn and nginx to provide infrastructure for a team project using machine learning to score user responses to tough leadership questions, creating a mad libs type game driven by input from your brain waves (see mindwave mobile headset>), and building a robot controlled by the mindwave mobile headset as well - which we built together with kids from the YMCA. Also I wasn\'t maintaing the old hosting server well so thought a clean slate would be good. Here we are. I like this console theme.
